Guadalupe Arreola

Early Childhood Teacher

Guadalupe’s past experiences of tutoring and being a youth advocate brought her to be an educator today. Her philosophy is that children learn by trying and sometimes making mistakes, and she loves to be there to facilitate the learning and help them grow. Guadalupe joined AGC in 2023 as part of the Founding Early Childhood team because she wants to teach

children from a very young age what a good citizen is by being able to take care of their communities and getting involved to make a change. She also loves to promote healthy habits and the importance of taking care of yourself for children and families.

When she was in college Guadalupe was in a group called Students of Service and got to travel to Minnesota and Missouri during spring break, where she helped clean and paint community buildings. She also got to help the Salvation Army gather and serve food for those in need and distribute warm clothes. These experiences shaped her path and she hopes that —through education— she can open the door to many opportunities for her students. In her spare time she is likely to be found with her two kids and husband doing an outdoor activity, like gardening or playing ball, or reading a book in her hammock.
