Helma Wardenaar

Director of Student Services

Creative. Dedicated. Enthusiastic. Helma has been called to these things since she was a child. Before moving to the United States, Helma taught multiple grades with great enthusiasm in the Netherlands. She speaks fluent English and Dutch, and conversational Spanish, German and French. Helma is proud to be a founding Teacher and Case Manager at AGC. She takes care of all students with Diverse Learning needs. She loves facilitating all children in developing their minds to reach their highest personal goals, and strives to collaborate with parents, teachers, and clinicians to provide the least restrictive learning environment. Helma teaches through sensory integration and creativity, in other words: Helma thinks outside the box as most of her students require a different approach to learning. She inspires others to go above and beyond.
