Ian Wenzel

Born in the vibrant city of Puebla, Mexico, Ian embodies a profound commitment to education rooted in his hometown's rich cultural heritage. With a deeply held belief in nurturing students to realize their aspirations and contribute positively to society, he dedicates himself to aligning his values with those of AGC. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), Ian infuses creativity and innovation into his teaching methodologies. Currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching in Spanish at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), he remains steadfast in his pursuit of academic excellence and linguistic proficiency. Additionally, his dedication to fostering language and literature proficiency is evidenced by his International Baccalaureate (IB) language and literature certificate. Beyond the classroom, he finds inspiration in the company of his dog, with whom he often explores the outdoors through the invigorating activity of running.
