Lesly Castro

Lesly was born and raised on the southside of Chicago. She is a proud Latina. She studied Social Work and Latino Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She pursued a degree in social work because she wanted to work within her community and use what she learned to give back to them. Her first trip out of the country was to South Africa. She was able to hike Table Mountain while there; it was definitely a memorable trip! She likes to spend time with her family and also loves enjoying live music and trying out new coffee shops. She states that, "AGC is a great school that teaches great values and contributes to the community. I have learned so much from here."
