Nour El-Youssef

Teacher Interventionist

Nour grew up in Minnesota spending most of her summers traveling to her father's native Syria or visiting her mother's family in Belgium, and completed her final year of high school in Brussels. Before transitioning to education Nour worked for several years as a case manager and victim advocate serving immigrant women in Philadelphia.

Nour is entering her tenth year of teaching. She is a certified Montessori educator and has worked with a wide range of age groups, spanning from infants in daycare settings to adult ESL students. As an ESL learner herself, she's especially excited to be part of a bilingual program. She speaks French, Spanish, and Portuguese and has lived abroad in Nicaragua, Mexico, Ghana, and Brazil.

Nour is thrilled to join AGC's team and is inspired by its commitment to social justice, community empowerment, and global citizenship.
