AGC Awarded $50K to Expand Sustainable Food Infrastructure

The Academy for Global Citizenship has received a $50K grant from the Chicago Region Food System Fund to strengthen sustainable food production, access, and distribution for our Southwest Chicago students and families.

In alignment with the grant's focus on Hard Infrastructure, Capacity Building, and Policy Change, this generous investment will fund key necessities like farming equipment, a wash and pack space, and growing area improvements.

We are grateful to CRFSF for their continued support as we work together to build a more equitable, adaptive, and resilient food system across Chicago through our Nourish the Neighborhood initiative with Cultivate Collective.
