Alejandra grew up in the Gage Park neighborhood of Chicago until she was 19 years old. At that time, she moved to Milwaukee, WI to attend Marquette University where she earned a bachelor's degree in education and Spanish. Alejandra stayed in Milwaukee for 9 years and taught Spanish between k4 and 12th grade. Although she loved teaching in Milwaukee, Alejandra decided to move back to Chicago to teach and shape the young minds of the students of the community that helped shape her. When not teaching, Alejandra can be found running, attending a spin class, baking sourdough, or visiting Milwaukee!
