Adrian Castrejón is an AGC parent. He is also an educator and assistant professor of Justice Studies and Latine & Latin American Studies at Northeastern Illinois University. Adrian earned a PhD in Public Affairs with the focus on race and gender. He studies and teaches about racial and social (in)justice; Chicano masculinity; and race, labor, and migration.
Adrian and his family moved to Chicago in 2018. They share and are committed to AGC’s mission and vision to support and create sustainable ways of living and learning. Adrian is especially committed to serving on the Board to contribute to their work on inclusion and restoration. He was elected to AGC’s Board of Directors in September 2023.
